its the crayon type, where you twist the bottom and the liner comes out, NOT the pencil type that you sharpen. this eyeliner works really well when it comes to not smudging or running and i'd like to buy it again but i cant sharpen the thing. it comes with a sharpener on the bottom but i cant get it to work. all it does it break the type off. any ideas?How do I sharpen Revlon Colorstay eyeliner?
you can buy special sharpeners for those types of eyeliners

at the bottom of it there should be a little cap thing that blends in (black) and if you pull it out there is a white part sticking out and it is a sharpener for the eyeliner.
