Revlon I hear is good..but don't waste your money. MAC studio fix foundation works extremly good or even Maybillne Pure Foundation is soo great too. It's only $5 too!
I haven't tried Rimmel foundation but Revlon Colorstay is great. It lasts all day. I rarely have to use blotting papers or powder.
I like Rimmer London foundation better. It just seems to go on smoother for some reason. And it does stay longer and doesn't upset my skin. (I have really sensitive skin)

After I put on the revlon colorstay foundation, My skin looks all dry and cakey, is that normal?

if you put a dark red dye over light brown hair, it will NOT fade to orange. it will eventually fade back to brown, albeit a darker one than at first.
there are guides on boxes that can give you an approximate color of what your hair will turn out to look like. remember, the longer you leave it on, the more intense it will be. don't leave it on for more than 30-40 minutes!
a brighter, richer red dye will most likely get the results you're looking for when put to light brown hair.

I don't know since I've never personally used that one. I use the Arrid Total spray and I think that one works great.

How to remove revlon color stay liquid?
I currently use revlon color stay liquid and since it lasts forever i need a good cleanser to remove it at night. I was thinking about neutrogena one -step gentle cleanser before i use my bar soap and other cleaner. I just want to make sure that it is all removed properly so it dosn't clog my pores. You don't need to use more than one cleanser, but you need to find the right cleanser that works for you. Since you already have sensitive skin, you will irritate it more by over-washing. Try using a toner after you wash your face.

you're welcome, it comes in a little bottle-like things with a black thing on top that turns to get the powder brush. i put it on my dark circles and freckles after i put on the liquid foundation. make sure to get the right shade. and don't forget to cover your neck with foundation too. i read all kinds of mixed reviews on all types of mineral makeup. I use Dinair Airbrush Makeup and its amazing!! If u go go to google and type in Dinair you'll find their site. it makes my skin look flawless and lasts all day. Ive used ti for 2 years now and i've never been happier with makeup!
I've only tried Bare Essentials. I'm not too pleased. And I think all these are a hype. Powder is powder. If you want really ';Sheer'; coverage, you're not going to hide imperfections. Use more %26amp; you get that fake look with too much make-up. I wanted the matte effect for my T-zone oily skin. All powders/minerals are the same. They look oily once your oil glands begin their daily activity. I've also found it actually accentuates the large pores on my face. I can not get near my eyes b/c it eventually makes my wrinkles there more noticeable. I went back to a cheap translucent face powder %26amp; got better results. But that's b/c I like the ';no make-up, healthy skin'; look.
You really need to check the ingredients before buying ANY mineral makeup to make sure it's truly 100% pure and natural. I have the exact same problem i brought revlon custom creations and it worked perfectly the first foundation that actually disappered on my skin and left it flawless keep in mind that the changes between the colors are subtle but its a great buy! Yes! It is my favorite foundation to use and it works wonders on all skin types.
You can apply with either the tips of your fingers, blending it in well and using it lightly or try using a sponge. I apply it all over my face, but be careful when doing that because some foundations can make your face look orange-y.

Is revlon colorstay better than dream mousse?
I use maybelline dream mousse and I really like it. The only problem is it doesn't stay all day, but nothing really does for me. I heard great things about colorstay and it really is suppose to last a long time. I'm not a big fan of Maybelline, but I like Rimmel and Revlon for lipstick. Max Factor has good mascaras and MAC has the best eyeshadows and eyeliners.

I highly recommend their products!

I have always had a hard time with color in foundation, and this actually seems to match my skin pretty well. It is liquidy, but not too oily. I apply moisturizer before (a must for my dry skin), the foundation, blush, and then set it with powder.
Price wise, it is expensive especially for a drug-store brand. But I always get it when Rite-Aid, Walgreens, or CVS has a buy one get one free deal. I save a lot of money, making them 6 dollars each. (12 dollars originally)

I don`t know about REVLON, but I know about ESSIE, they have this gorgeous dark red called THIGH HIGH.
It is totally the winter just by looking at this increadibly rich colour, it is unbeatable.
The thing with ESSIE is that you have to apply three coats, so it looks really visible, other than this everything else is perfect.

Ooooh I just got the best manicure yesterday and wanted something BOLD so, I chose this really rich, dark, chocolaty, red color by Orly called Naughty. The first coat looks like fresh blood being applied to your nails and the second coat looks like blood that is stored in a bag... Sorry to be gross but it is such a deep dark red that is what it looks like. IMO- you will need very short nails to pull this color off without looking tacky.

The thing with ESSIE is that you have to apply three coats, so it looks really visible, other than this everything else is perfect.

Ooooh I just got the best manicure yesterday and wanted something BOLD so, I chose this really rich, dark, chocolaty, red color by Orly called Naughty. The first coat looks like fresh blood being applied to your nails and the second coat looks like blood that is stored in a bag... Sorry to be gross but it is such a deep dark red that is what it looks like. IMO- you will need very short nails to pull this color off without looking tacky.

I bought it in the lightest shade and I have light olive skin, my flatmate used it as well and it was fine for her too she has very pale ivory skin. It's not magical at skin matching, it's just very sheer and blendable so it would suit a lot of skin tones because it's not high coverage. If you need a full coverage foundation this would not be suitable, it's more of a tinted moisturiser like consistency (although it's not moisturising!) I know a few black and mixed race women who like the darkest shade and think it's excellent, and quite pale people suit the fairest one which I have but the middle shades tend to be where it doesn't match anyone.
I haven't actually bought the product, but I tried in in boots. I'm naturally pale, so I tried the lightest shade which was way to dark for me. It did not blend at all. I was surprised as i'm not so pale that I can't get foundation. The majority of foundations cater well for my skin tone, so I think I would blame the product this time rather than my skin tone. I was suggest L'oreal true match, or MAX Factor's mineral foundation. As both of these are mineral foundations they are far better for your skin than liquid foundation :)

I bought this in Ivory for combination/oily skins, having heard good reviews about it for ages on the internet. I have pretty terrible skin, oily on the nose-forehead-cheeks zone with occasional dry patches and scarring on the sides of my face (eeek!). This isn't a perfect colour match for me, it's a bit too pink, but it's the closest a foundation has ever come to matching my skintone so I was pleased with that. It doesn't cover all the scarring on my cheeks perfectly but I can live with a few red marks.
It covers all of my blackheads and red spots without looking cakey, and with a light dusting of powder leaves a lovely smooth matte finish to my skin. It lasts for absolutely agesss, I went to dance in this and afterwards it hadn't melted off or smudged at all, all it needed was a powder touch-up. It hasn't broken me out either yet (: it is pretty difficult to take off at night but I might just need a better makeup remover. The one and only thing I really hate about this is the bottle. It's dreadful, I end up wasting product because it just runs right out, it's clunky and takes up loads of room in my makeup bag, I'm terrified of the lid unscrewing or dropping it and breaking it, it's just awful. I would much prefer this in different packaging, but I can always pour the product into a plain pump bottle I guess. I'll most likely buy this again as it's really impressed me, minus the packaging.
i love this foundation it doesn't look cakey at all! as long as you apply it with a foundation brush or a sponge it looks really nice. when i put it on it looks like im wearing hardly any foundation. i don't think it gives me spots and as long as you wear moisturiser under any foundation it shouldn't clog up your pores anyway. i remove it with clean and clear blackhead clearing cleanser and this removes the foundation really easily because it contains alcohol and it helps get rid of spots. im not sure if its getting rid of my blackheads though.
also if i put quite a bit of the colorstay foundation on it starts looking a bit pink (i use ivory) so if you're trying to cover up a spot or a freckle you should use the foundation as a concealer before putting it on all over your face.
it might be abit too heavy for you but it is a good foundation %26amp; very good quality.
I think Mymix foundation (featured in Daily Mail; see below for details). would be good for you as it doesn't give a heavy coverage %26amp; looks gorgeous on the skin. %26amp; it is very good value for money.As mentioned in the Daily Mail: ';..looks as if you have had a facelift..';. Also, gives you a lovely glow %26amp; what I noticed it doesn't sit on the skin but blends in really well %26amp; also doesn't get into pores.

Yes, it will cover your spots and it is a good foundation. BUT it breaks a lot of people out in more spots, and isn't good for young skin due to the high amount of chemicals in it to make it stay for ages! Don't use it - it will make you get lots of spots and really damage your skin.
I would reccomend that you use bare minerals. It gives a good coverage, and since there are no harsh chemicals it will help clear spots up and help prevent them. It will hide your spots and blackheads too :D And it definatly won't make your skin bumpy or flaky.

Even though, its a color stay, i haven't found a liquid liner that will actually stay put. So its an ok eye liner. I like the pencil better, they dont water down when your eye's water.

I disagree. I have both mascaras and I find that Maybelline mascara as a little too runny. I have Revlon Luxurious Lengths mascara and its just brilliant. It has long bristles on one side to encourage thicker and longer lashes and the other side is short to develop colour.
My mum also uses it and she loves the fact that it doesn't irritate her eyes because its a gel instead of a liquid.
For me, it doesn't clump and thickens and darkens my fair, thin lashes.Revlon ...?
Ashley and Hannah are right. Great Lash by Maybelline is the best mascara out there. Allure magazine polls say the same. I use the waterproof and love it. At Walmart, they have the double pack of black or brown mascara with a free clear mascara for $3.94!

i use shiseido's eye and lip makeup remover on revlon's colorstay products. i have oily and acne prone skin as well and i usually don't like the oily residue that it leaves behind. but the oil helps the makeup come off easier and this way, your skin doesnt dry up. what is usually do right after removing makeup is just use a cleanser to get rid of the oily feeling.

yes it's last all day it won't come off unless you wipe it off with a makeup remover and actually it's very easy to find your shade for a drugstore Brand they care plenty of different shades. I recommended it, search it up on you tube they have tons of videos on that makeup
Lots of people like it and I was going to get it I use Covergirl and Im not ever using DRUG STORE foundation makeup ever again Im going straight to MAC

I remember trying that foundation a few years ago when it first came out and I thought it was awful. It smelled really weird and was soooo damn heavy, but it could also be because I was only maybe 14 or 15 and didn't know how to properly put on foundation.
I would try Make Up Forever HD Foundation, it's wooooonderful. They have it at Sephora.
